If you do business here, you know how great the live network is in Saint John. People are more than willing to lend a helping hand or offer advice and guidance. There are so many stories to share, we thought one of the best ways to show you all the incredible support is to hear it from people in their own words.
We reached out to Shannon Merrifield of the Buckland Merrifield Gallery, and asked her what’s behind the momentum in Brick Park. Here’s what she had to say:
“The different types of businesses opening and expanding in Brick Park is making it such a diverse place to be. Entrepreneurs from various sectors – dining, décor, music, entertainment and art – are really adding to the ecology of the Uptown core; places like Thandi and Hopscotch Whiskey bar, Tuck Studio, and the Five and Dime. Keith Brideau of Historica is also creating spaces that are instrumental in building on this momentum. And to have the combination of Picaroons and Locavore for example, offering locally sourced food and beverages side by side, is very powerful and people are really responding. I believe that people enjoying the quality of life here will sustain this growth and attract even more businesses to Brick Park.”
