Holly Singh: shout out to NBCC, Pretzel Productions, SJ chefs & waitstaff

There are so many stories to share, we thought one of the best ways to show you all the incredible support is to hear it from people in their own words.

We reached out to Holly and Ken Singh of Thandi and Hopscotch Whiskey Bar, and asked them about a time when they had to make a tough business decision and relied on their business network, and here’s what they had to say:

In June 2015 Thandi was hired by Wyndham Worldwide to cater an exclusive event for 550 people at the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal. The CEO of the company was flying into Saint John and holding a staff appreciation luncheon and a Town Hall information session. It was a 3-course meal, and the challenge was a 90-minute timeline to facilitate their schedule. We reached out to businesses in the community – we called upon the New Brunswick Community College in St. Andrews culinary school, Pretzel Productions, chefs from local restaurants, and wait staff from various restaurants in the city for manpower and expertise. The event was a huge success with the help of our local networking community in the hospitality industry.” – Holly Singh
